Wii on Racing

Expect this car to be hitting the tracks in August as Nintendo aims to increase the public knowledge of their new Wii console. So far, it has only been confirmed to be at two races, one in August and one in September, however the sponsorship could turn into a long term one that you see holding between other companies and their drivers.

This is really interesting. I always wondered in the back of my mind if Nintendo would ever sponsor a NASCAR driver. Now, I’m wondering if Microsoft and Sony will follow short, or if they will let Nintendo take spots in the NASCAR themed games on their respective consoles. This could turn out to be very interesting when the next game in the series rolls out!
