When it gets cold, and you’re going to be out of town

It doesn’t matter if you have cheap run-of-the-mill faucets or nice Delta faucets, if it gets cold enough, your pipes will leak. The water freezes at 32, so if you’re going to be out of town, there is the possibility that the water could become stagnant and freeze. The best thing to do (or one of the best things to do) is to leave your water on a very slow drip, possibly on warm water. This can help keep the water moving and warmer, which can aid in deterring your pipes from freezing up and perhaps bursting. This is one of those “better safe than sorry” deals!
