Sadly, none of those are the most common way that people try to lose weight. Many people try to lose weight by eating less than they need to. Yes, this could (and remember the key word of could) cause people to lose some weight. But what it will most likely do is cause the person to, yes, lose a little bit of poundage, but mostly to lose the quality of life and energy level that they used to have. It is very good to try and eat the recommended amount of food and types of food. But if you are already eating a healthy amount, then there is no point in eating less food… just changing which food you eat.
