When people think of taking a tropical vacation in the United States, the first thing that comes to mind is the idea of traveling to Hawaii. However, there are quite a few good opportunities available in the lower 48 (not that Alaska would be a top candidate for tropical vacations anyway) for a tropical vacation. For example, a trip to Miami in the right season could be quite tropical (especially depending on the weather). All you would have to do is check out a miami car rental and then explore the surrounding area for several days and you would quickly feel your stresses drift away in the ocean breeze.
