Tropical Storm Ingrid is in the Atlantic ocean at the moment, moving in a north and west pattern, which could lead it to Florida in a week or so. At the moment it has sustained winds of around 45mph, so it still has a while before it would upgrade to a Hurricane. Although the weathermen are predicting that Ingrid will stay weak, they also didn’t think Humberto would become a Hurricane at the last minute before making landfall. Just to be on the safe side, you might want to wait until Ingrid passes to get a Florida rental vacation or do any type of long term vacationing in the area. Most likely, Ingrid will become a weak tropical depression, but it’s always good to be on the safe side.
