Nowadays with high gas prices it is important to save money in as many ways as you can whenever you are traveling. If you are traveling by plane, you can do this by traveling light and not taking too many suitcases - the more you take, the higher your baggage costs will be. If you are traveling by car, you can save money also by taking less baggage - a heavier car won’t get quite as good gas mileage. Of course, the lighter the car is itself and the more efficient it’s engine is, the better your mileage will be. If you are staying overnight somewhere, you can also save by staying at cheap hotels. There are plenty of nice hotels for low rates, so don’t feel like you’ll get cheap service just cause of the price.
