The projects we’d all love to do
Word Count: 197It’s summertime! The days are warm and dry (except in Texas; why is it that we get the wet weather during summer?) and the weather usually just makes you want to get out and fix up your house and make it more comfy or personalized.
One thing that is always nice to fix up is the backyard. Most people’s backyards go through a yearly cycle of used and not used. However, it would be nice to have a backyard that was comfortably usable in any temperature or weather. This is too expensive for me to do right now, but it would be like my dream backyard deck.
I think that it would be really cool to have a semi-indoor deck, with a few outdoor ceiling fans attached to the roof of the deck for during the hotter months, and maybe a heater for cooler times. I’d like to have a plastic see through wall that could go around the edge of the deck to keep bugs out but that could easily be opened on nice nights. Then it would be so easy and fun to entertain guests and have cookouts and stuff, which would be a nice bonus.
