The contents of my desk.
Word Count: 137I have writers block, so onward I will travel, far into the depths of my desk, seeking to find an item so exquisite that it can capture my (and your) attentions.
I have a graphing calculator, that is used mainly for menial tasks of addition and subtraction rather than for graphing. There are scores of papers, many of which are out of date by a week or more. There is a plethora of coins, ranging from pennies to quarters to foreign coins. I also have a large acorn (I don’t know why), an unused band-aid, birthday cards from August, a camera out of its case, dirty dishes, and an unopened water bottle.
My conclusion, after examining those items that make up just a small percentage of the items on this desk, is that…
I need to clean my desk off.

It’s amazing how fast things can pile up. For me, it’s mail. We get a lot of mail every week. I try to sort it every day as I’m looking at it. But when things get really busy or I’m out of town, then it starts to pile up!
