Taking an Online Class

I am taking an online college class at the moment to get some additional, and it has been an interesting experience so far. Rather than experiencing lectures with an actual professor, we watch PowerPoint slide shows and read text boxes online. All of our quizzes and tests are done on line. Of course, we do have an actual professor who is overseeing our class, but we don’t actually ever meet him face to face.

The biggest difference is that there is much less external motivation - you have to motivate yourself even more than you do in a regular class to keep up with the schedule. Plus, it is a little easier to get distracted in the comfort of your own home than it is in a rigid college classroom.
