Some ideas for my contest… help me out here!
Word Count: 210I have decided to run a contest on my blog. It may or may not replace the prize for the obstacle course I mentioned in my previous post (although don’t worry, I am Definitely making the online obstacle course; prize or not. But, anyway, on to my point. I am thinking about hosting a contest here on my blog that is just for my blogs readership.
One of my ideas is to make it only open to someone who is on my top 10 commentor list. Here is a hint; if you are on the top ten list, sign up for an account on my blog with your name that you use, and your site URL. That will prevent anyone from stealing your comments in the future.
Of course, a contest open to anyone would be good too; but I am trying to think of ways to help people break their shyness and comment on my stuff. (and I am constantly working on making my articles more comment-worthy, also)
Some ideas I have thought about include a picture contest, but I’ve run across so many blogs doing that that I would feel like I was copying them. A writeup contest or a drawing would be nice too, I guess.
