I have seen options for savings on everything from $0.05 discounts for using a reusable shopping bag, to used golf balls, to savings for recycling an old cell phone. At first, the savings may seem quite small and insignificant. However, if you were to consistently rack up small savings in many different areas, before you know it you would have saved up quite a bit.
Another example is Bank of America’s keep the change program. Even though each deposit is somewhere around $0.50 on average, it adds up fast throughout the year. Its pretty nice!
