Shooting out a Song

Word Count: 155

It was recently revealed that a song would be shot towards the north star and subsequently the Outer Banks of space to celebrate the anniversary of a song and a space program. The idea is sort of pointless, mainly because of the fact that for someone to hear the song, no matter how many planets or galaxies away they were, they would have to have a radio reception device, probably one with similar interpretations as the ones on earth (otherwise, it could just show up as static if the radio device of an alien were made with different designs) So, even if the seemingly impossible happened and somehow there was life in the pathway of the song, they probably wouldn’t ever notice. It’s an interesting idea though, and I’m guessing that it was done mainly for fun.

I wonder if this is a one time thing, or if it will become a yearly tradition?
