Roots of the Recession

I think that the root of the recession may not be in the mortgage lenders, the stock market, or the big businesses. I think that the root of the recession may be in people who let people take out large loans with no credit and nothing to back up or represent the money that they have out on loan. With economic success a few years ago, lenders got into the habit of giving out loans to people who would never earn enough to pay them back on time. Hopefully this economic slump will be short lived and will serve as a warning to those who are loan-happy.
