Risks in Old Cars
Word Count: 135I drive a used car. A heavily used car, actually. It’s a 1997 toyota corolla, and when I purchased it, it already had over 212,000 miles on it. Wow! But thankfully, it still works totally great. Only one thing that I had to get fixed, and that was the calipers. (Although it did run up a mighty fine charge of $400 or so)
With old cars, there is always a risk. From the ac compressor to the brakes to the engine, you need to make sure that everything works before going through with the purchase. In many cases, purchases like that are “as is no warranty” meaning that if something goes wrong - you’re stuck with it. Always be careful when making any large purchase, but especially a used purchase with such risky terms on it.
