If you haven’t heard, there is a new trend of “wireless” debit and credit cards. These cards work because of RFID, which allows them to wirelessly connect to payment centers. This can make it easier to pay in rush situations. The only downside, however, is that if someone gets close enough, they could read the signal from your debit/credit cards and then use them for online transactions. One interesting way to protect against this possibility is through the use of rfid blocking wallets, which prevent that from occurring.
