Review: Vacationing in India?

If you are planning to travel to India, you probably either want to stay at an inn, a bed and breakfast, or one of the hotels there. Inasra.com is a site that assists those tourists who plan to go to India to find safe and comfortable accommodation. Just from visiting the site and browsing it I can tell you that this is a very well put together site that serves the needs of its customers very well. However, today we have been asked to not only look at the positive sides of their site, but try to offer some constructive criticism as well. The theme of the site is very streamlined and nice looking, however I feel that it is a little bland in the background. I really like the streamlined look, and the white background is not a huge deal, but I feel that the site would look better with a green, red, or tannish background that would easily fit with the well-designed logo that is already in place. Now, moving on to the pictures. The pictures that are on the site look very professional and fit in with the site very well. This may not be something controlled by the site owners, but some of the hotels are lacking a picture. Whether that is on the site side or the hotels fault for not sending in a picture, I do think that people are going to be more likely to stay at a hotel that they have a picture of, it just seems like human nature. On some of the pages, the links cool color is hindered by the dark blue/purple underline. I feel that a lighter blue underline or maybe even a different color altogether would look better on those links.

I hate to bring out the negative in such a well designed site. Trust me, I had trouble finding things to give constructive criticism on. That, obviously, is a good thing. This seems to be a very well designed site that can easily help you to get your job done when looking for vacationing or traveling in India.
