Preventative vs Post Aid?
Word Count: 112Sometimes I wonder why more money is put into post aid research than preventative in some instances. For example, although weight loss pills are great for people who have already become overweight, shouldn’t there be just as much on the market for maintaining a healthy weight? This is also true for AIDS - although it’s important to try and see what ways there are to help those who have AIDS, it’s just as important to figure out ways to keep people aware and safe from ever contracting the disease farther down the road.
I guess the main reason why more is put into the post aid is because hindsight, not foresight, is 20-20.
