Popcorn

Is it just me, or does popcorn leave a weird greasy feeling after you’ve eaten a lot of it? For me, especially whenever I eat the popcorn that is from the actual movie theater, afterwards I end up getting a sore throat. This had happened with me for quite a while, but I haden’t really thought anything of it. When I got a sore throat afterward, I just attributed it to allergies. Which, it probably was allergies, but it could be a different type than I expected. Recently, in my local newspaper, I read that there are actually harmful chemicals contained in the movie theater popcorn. These chemicals are in such small quantities that they don’t usually effect anyone except for the people working at the popcorn plants. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if it could be that some people (as with myself) could possibly be affected by even small amounts of those chemicals. Who knows; it would be interesting to find out!
