On Living In Texas
Word Count: 113It’s funny how people think that just because I live in Texas, I own horses and ride saddles rather than cars. I remember one time when I was in Florida for vacation, people actually asked me how many horses I owned, and were shocked to find out that I owned no horses and actually drove in a car! They also wondered if I was impressed by the “modern technology” in Florida (all of which was just like back home!) So many people don’t realize that in many ways, Texas is just like the rest of the U.S. Of course, we really do say Y’all here - it’s not just a TV thing.

I only have one word to say and that is those Floridians don’t know a thing about the cities in Texas, just the rural parts.
