On Living In Texas
Word Count: 136I love living in Texas. It’s a great state, with great laws (I like that there is no state income tax, etc), with great people, and lots of open land. There are a few biases for those who live in Texas, though. I have literally had people from other states ask me if cars and technology was weird for me when they found out that I was from Texas. We do have computers, high-tech downtown areas, and cities with millions of people in them here. It’s not as if everyone here only shops for cattle supplies. Although it is true that there are a lot of ranchers in Texas, the vast majority of us are not ranchers. And those Texans who are ranchers are most likely very familiar with cars, planes, computers, and other technologies.
