Katamari headed to Wii, not PS3?

Remember that this is just a rumor at the moment and has not been confirmed. However, I think that this would be very cool if the Wii got a Katamari game, it seems perfect for the genre.
The Katamari series is a weird but strangely addicting and fun series where you roll around picking up items into a ball, and getting bigger to pick up larger items. Its hard to explain, but if you ever watch or try it you will understand and see why it is fun.
So, anyway, here is why I think that this would be a likely thing to happen. According to IGN, Namco Bandai stated that they ran into some problems when trying to make the game on the PS3. If this did turn out to be a rumor, that would be where it sparked from. However, the high cost of development and the slightly stalled sales rate of the PS3 combined would seem to be good reason for them to turn to the fast selling and easy to develop for Nintendo Wii. Not only that, but the control scheme would fit so perfectly on the Wii that they just HAVE to do it. The inside sources, according to IGN, say that it is 100% reliable, but until we hear it from Namco ourselves, we have to consider this a rumor.
