Jokes, a new form of ads?
Word Count: 127I was looking at a jokes website, and they had some jokes about diamond rings. After reading further into the jokes, however, I noticed that a lot of the jokes seemed to be lifting up one company and putting down another, at least subtly. Not only that, but there were a few links to the “better” site and this link came up close to the top on Google searches. So, it could be very possible that a new form of advertising is making jokes that link to your product as well as uplift it, but making them on a different site such as a free joke site or on one of their privately owned sites. It’s not a terrible idea, but I wouldn’t recommend trying it.
