I’m not saying that you need to get the body of a bodybuilder, or lift Kettlebells if you don’t want to, but if you can keep all of your muscles active on a regular basis, you will be a lot healthier in the long run. Many of the problems that people have in old age are related to muscles fading away. Even if you are young, though, you’ll find that you sleep better and feel better overall if you can exercise on a regular basis.
