I was longing for some more snow…
Word Count: 137But it didn’t come. I can’t complain though… I wasn’t expecting any snow at all this week and the fact that we got a few hours (no accumulation, however) of snow on thanksgiving day is something in itself. For this area of Texas, snow is a rarity and some years we get very little or even no snow, and when it does snow it’s usually the heart of winter, in mid-late January. We had a chance of some more snow flurries tonight, and even though the temperature is prime for some flurries, all the moisture seems to have rained itself out. There’s always other days of snow though, and seeing as how this is set to be a wetter than average winter, I think I can easily set my hopes on seeing some more snow this season.

I wish we would get some snow. It’s 50 degrees and pouring down the rain right now. Has been raining most of the day. We had a little bit of sleet yesterday and temps were in the 30’s. A few days ago temps were in the 70’s. Weird weather.

I am so the opposite. LOL. Bring on the warm sun. However, I went to an event this weekend that featured snow machines. They are pretty cool and probably a quick fix.
