Helping Those Who Need It

Often times, those with drug addictions end up getting put in jail. While there are times when this might be necessary, I feel like that many of these people need help, not incarceration. Many people start by getting prescribed a strong pain reliever by a doctor. Then, they develop a prescription drug abuse addiction because of the strong pain relief/pleasure effects. Many people do not realize that there is treatment for their addictions, and so they live to satisfy their addictions instead of living a full life. Hopefully more people will choose to get help for their addictions as time goes on.
