Health Insurance Savings Add Up
Word Count: 168Some people say that health insurance isn’t worth it, or that over the course of a year, you’ll spend much more on health insurance than you would by just paying the full price of appointments. However, most people go to the doctor less than they are supposed to. (Including me) You should make 2-4 visits to your dentist per year, and 1-2 visits to your regular physician per year. As you get older, the list of doctors you are supposed to visit just adds up.
It’s not only that, though, that makes the health insurance worth buying. Think about if you had some emergency, or got into a car wreck. Of course, you wouldn’t have been planning on that, so it would put a huge kink in your budget, perhaps thousands of dollars into debt. With health insurance, you might not have to pay a dime. It may not seem like it’s worth it, but once you use it for something big you’ll be glad you had it.
