Explaining hosting to people can be so confusing

I understand it, and its even confusing to just explain.
I have a relative who is hosted on my site, however they have their own domain. Another relative seems suspicious that I have access to files on their site. I tried explaining that its just normal because those files are hosted on my site. But to them that is probably confusing since the domain is usually what people think of as the site.

Having multiple domains hosted on one host can get confusing sometimes. :P
