Everything Costs

Word Count: 107

The health care bill and all of the media focus on health care had me thinking the other day about how everything has its cost. Even just to be alive costs between taxes, healthcare, and insurance, and food. Even dying costs money (with funeral costs and etc). Today, it is basically impossible, especially within highly industrialized countries, to live independently of the market economy for any extended period of time.

It makes sense, to an extent, though. What do you think? Does this expand to other facets of life as well? Perhaps the aspect of cost (in a monetary sense) has expanded beyond borders that would be best.
