I have never shopped on Ebay yet, although I have done considerable browsing there just for fun. They have pretty much everything on Ebay, ranging from cell phones to collectible dolls to colon cleanse products to works of art to even automobiles. The interesting thing is that although Ebay serves as a mediator, the product/money exchange takes place in the hands of the participants. I may one day buy from Ebay, but I don’t know if I will ever sell something there because of the fees, unless it was something that I knew I could get the most from putting it into an auction. If you put something up on Ebay and it doesn’t sell (or it sells low) you can end up losing a decent amount of money.
