People who are addicted to drugs/alcohol should look into drug rehabilitation, especially after an insightful report by “Medical News Today”. Apparently, drugs and alcohol are closely linked to a certain type of diabetes. Even drugs that supporters deem as “harmless” such as marijuana can lead to this type of diabetes over extended periods of use. Diabetes is also unlikely to be the only disease caused by harmful chemical use. ADHD can also develop (in both adults and teens) after use of drugs/alcohol.
The main difference between the alcohol and drugs is that with the drugs, even minuscule amounts could lead to health problems, while with alcohol, problems usually only develop if enough is consumed to cause intoxication.
