China may beat us back to the moon

What is our current goal for being back on the moon? 2020.

China’s? 2017.

Apparently, NASA is urging Americans not to look on to space exploration as the space race that it once was, stating that  back in the 50s-70s, space technology was just as much for military reasons as for scientific reasons, and that is why we were able to put so much of our funds into space technology. As of now our funds are focused to the on-planet things, and therefore space exploration is kind of at a lull right now.

On a positive space note, they have discovered that Titan has methane drizzle and is very cold, but other than that the moon Titan has a weather pattern that may be very similar to that of the one here on Earth. This was discovered through telescope, not space exploration probe, however.
