What is Cat 5? I looked it up, and apparently it is a type of Electronics wire, as well as Jacks. It is, according to wikipedia, known as “cable and telephone”, which is commonly used cabling in high-speed internet connections that range from the wall jack up to the modem or wireless router, which then transports the data to the computer itself. Because of the  way the paths are wound, it is able to transmit data faster than the conventional cable. Even if you didn’t know it, you probably have Cat 5 cables in your own house if you use DSL or Cable internet, wireless or not.
