Word Count: 106There is a really cool app that I recently placed on my iPhone that functions as barcode scanner. It uses the camera function on my device to scan the barcode, even without having to take and save a picture - instead, it works while in live action video mode. It then searches an online database to provide information about the item, including prices at various stores, making it a great tool for comparison shopping. If you don’t (or can’t) get a full function scanner, buying an app to have on your phone will surely get the job done for most people. Plus, it’s just plain fun!
