And yet again I forgot the pains of dial up
Word Count: 157Think of the internet as a horse, and dial up as being someone riding it. Think of DSL as someone with proper horse riding apparel and training that is making the horse actually gallop rather than trot along at a painfully slow pace.
For this week, until Friday, I’ll be on dial up networking. I’m not writing as much, and I may be falling behind on some blogging, but I’ll catch back up later. The holidays are a time to relax so I’m not going to let myself get stressed out about falling behind until a few days AFTER new years is over. Tonight, there’s a new year’s party at church which should be fun, but what I’m more excited about is the chance of snow. (Where I live we don’t get much snow, so now that I’m up north for a while, it’s nice to see some if we can)
