Word Count: 97Today, there is a surge of interest in gerontology, or care for the elderly. While people typically think of adult diapers, weelchairs, or walkers. However, there is a lot more that goes on and care is a very complex issue - which is probably why there is enough content for people to have gerontology as a major at University. Perhaps this is also why homes for the elderly are becoming more inviting and liveable as time progresses. We will likely be old one day too, so why not make it something that doesn’t have to be dreadful?
